Emma This baby we called Emma broke my heart from far away I know only God could help her and that’s why she could not stay. He saved her from a lifetime filled with suffering and pain. He brought her to a paradise where she always will remain. We mourn her from our earthly realm since we have no choice. But when she entered God’s mansion, all of heaven did rejoice. She has a Grandma there to guide her and share the gift of love. And explore her home in Heaven with the freedom of a dove. A simple thought has made me smile, and it is knowing that Emma’s the first great-grandchild my father has ever met. I can’t help but feel this emptiness for what we all will miss To watch her grow, hold her close and share that childhood bliss. So today I pray for comfort, the courage and the trust And the strength to carry on and do the things I know I must. I will always remember this child I’ve never known And find peace in knowing she is safe within God’s home. Love you Emma Grandpa
